A Pharmacy in the City of Cullman was broken into on September 29, 2014. The suspect is a bald, heavy-set black male wearing dark clothes. He wore a bandana over his nose and lower face. This crime may be associated with an earlier crime involving a dark-colored Ford Ranger, possibly late 80s or early 90s model, sliding back glass window, chrome bed rails and may have primer on the right side. Subject is about six feet tall and weighs 250 pounds or more. This subject is making rounds in Cullman and surrounding areas doing break-ins. Theft of Cell Phone at Chevron Station in Tarrant-September 16, 2014

On September 16, 2014 at approximately 6:15 p.m., the suspect shown in this photo stole a cell phone at a Chevron Station in the Tarrant area. The victim placed her phone on the counter and the suspect came from behind her and took it. The suspect left in what appears to be an early-2000 model silver Chevrolet Impala with damage to the passenger side behind the rear passenger door. Theft/Forgery-Target in Trussville-August 8, 2014

On August 8, 2014, the suspect wearing the blue pants approached a recently hired Trussville Target employee, telling her that she worked on the night shift and was trying to get on day shift. The suspect then walked away and began talking with a manager. The new employee was called to open a register and both suspects entered her lane. The suspect wearing the blue pants presented two checks, which later proved to be fraudulent, and told the employee to tender the checks as a cash transaction rather than as checks, and that the manager had approved it. The suspects purchased merchandise and gift cards. After leaving that Target location, the suspects used the gift cards at the Target store on Hwy 280. Both suspects loaded their merchandise into a Maroon Nissan Armada, Tag 1AF6044. Homicide-James Madden; BPD 5/18/2014

On May 17, 2014, around 10:11PM, Birmingham Police received a 911 call reporting an injured man laying in the roadway in the 1000 Block of Lawson Road in Birmingham. Officers arrived to find James Madden, 41, laying in the road. Mr. Madden was already deceased, he had been shot. This investigation is being handled by Det. Rodney Rogers, BPD. No witnesses have stepped up to help Det. Rogers find out who is responsible for killing Mr. Madden and why. Burglary-The Pit Stop-Birmingham, AL June 20, 2014

On Friday, June 20, 2014, The Pit Stop, located in the 3200 Block of Birmingport Rd. was burglarized. One offender smashed open the front door to gain entry and enter the store, while a second suspect waited outside. A large amount of cigarettes was stolen, as well as an unknown amount of cash.

aRobbery-Shell Station in McCalla-July 1, 2014

In the early morning hours Tuesday, July 1st, two armed men robbed two employees at adjoining businesses in 2100 Block of Eastern Valley Road in McCalla. The gunmen shot a customer inside one of the businesses during the robbery. The two were caught on security video both inside and outside the businesses. Both are black males, both have guns, and both wore something to partially cover their faces. Burglary-Hartzell Engine in Bessemer-4/23/14

On April 23, 2014, Hartzell Engine Technologies at 714 Marshall Street in Bessemer was burglarized, the eighth burglary in the last twelve months.  The  suspect stole stocking jigs, press jigs, lathe chucks, copper wire and copper chips valued at thousands of dollars. The stolen items are used to manufacture armatures for aircraft engine starters. Video surveillance captured images of a slender black male breaking into the business and removing items. A white pickup truck, possibly with a tie rack or ladder rack on the bed, was used to remove stolen items in one of the burglaries. The pickup truck appears to be a light-duty truck, possibly a Ford Ranger.

Homicide-Jacqueline Callen; Birmingham PD; November 2, 2013

On Monday, November 2, the body of 46 year old Jacqueline Callen was discovered in a vacant apartment on St. Charles Avenue Southwest.  Ms. Callen, a victim of harsh circumstances and sometimes homeless, was left by her assailant partially hidden under a pile of trash in an abandoned apartment.  Jacqueline Callen deserves justice and the person(s) responsible for this crime deserved to be identified and charged. Homicide-Benjamin Sloan; Birmngham PD; October 27, 2013

Around 7:34pm, on Sunday, October 27, BPD Officers were called to the 300 Block of 83rd Street North by nearby residents who had heard several shots fired.  Officers located a 2000 gray Chevrolet Tahoe parked at the end of the dead end street. Driver, 32 year old Benjamin Sloan, was slumped over the wheel. Mr. Sloan had been fatally shot. The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a homicide. Justin Kindred was found Sunday morning at 44th Place North and 8th Avenue Alley also known as Kingston projects. South Precinct officers were dispatched to the incident location to investigate a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located Kindred inside a wrecked vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham police are investigating a shooting at 1036 2nd Court West in Birmingham. The police are stating that this is a random act of violence. The victim is in his late teens, and he was shot in the head.  The victim was playing basketball at the court next to the Birmingham Professional Firefighter Association building near Rickwood Field.  Allegedly, the suspect walked up and fired one shot. The victim was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition. The  police are interviewing witnesses, and hope to solve this crime quickly. Robbery- Bank on Center Point Road, Jefferson Co., July 26, 2013

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an afternoon robbery of a bank. Shortly before 2 p.m., a white male wearing a burgundy shirt, blue jeans, a blue Yamaha hat, and sunglasses entered the bank located in the 2400 block of Center Point Road and handed a note to a teller demanding money. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Although the man reportedly didn't use a weapon in the robbery, authorities say he is possibly armed. Officers arrived to find a white Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into a chain link fence. The driver, Christopher Johnson, was slumped over the wheel. On July 13th, a black male entered a nail salon on Pelham Parkway and requesting pricing for a pedicure. When the lone female employee turned her attention from the male, he attacked her from behind. After some struggle  the female directed him to a bank bag hidden  in a drawer. The female stated that, as the suspect began to leave, he turned abruptly and struck her causing her to fall into a cabinet. The suspect was described as a black male, mid to late 20's, 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighing 170-190 lbs. He was wearing an off-white/ tan t-shirt and blue jeans with distinct blck shoes with white soles.  It appears the suspect had no getaway car, as witnesses described seeing an individual fitting this description running behind businesses some distance from the scene. Homicide detectives are investigating an overnight shooting in Ensley. West Precinct officers were dispatched about 4 a.m. to a report of someone shot inside a vehicle.  Police were called to the 100 block of 16th Street North around 11:14 a.m. on the report of a person shot. When they arrived, they learned the person had gotten into a truck driven by another person and left the area. Police spotted the truck with the victim inside a few blocks away, the driver pulled over and paramedics begin to treat the shooting victim. He was transported to the hospitol where he later died. The victim has been identified as 17-year-old James T. Hudson Jr. Authorities stated that the shooting followed an argument. Police believe 19-year-old Aaron Whitt was chased down before he was tragically shot less than one month ago. Shortly after midnight on June 24, someone was driving by the 2800 block of Wilson Road. That person saw Whitt lying on the sidewalk. When our officers got to the scene, they saw that Whitt had been shot, and that he had died. Theft-Car Break-ins, Birmingham, AL, June 2nd, and 3rd, 2013

At least three people are wanted for several car break-ins that occurred in the Pinson area last month. They're also facing an attempted murder charge. The suspects on June 2nd stole a white Mitsubishi Montero. Early the next morning the suspects burglarized several vehicles in the Summer Crest Drive area, and later they were spotted by police on Pine Crest Road. A chase began at that point and the suspects were able to elude police at the time. Several weeks later a home owner spotted the suspects burglarizing his vehicle, the homeowner shot at the suspects. The Fairfield Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation at an abandoned house in the 4000 block of Court G after a body was discovered on the front porch Friday morning. The equipment is a John Deere Z91B zero turn mower that is valued at $7084.61. The suspect presented a South Carolina driver's licence and a personal check to the business, both of wich turned out to be counterfeit. Officers were called to the 8200 block of 3rd Avenue North Alley at approximately 5:50 a.m. on monday mourning. There they found 38-year-old Catina Skipper suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Skipper's body was found in a ditch  near East Lake Park. Several shell casings were found in the alley near her.  Witnesses that live in the area stated that they heard gunshots around 2 am. Jimmy Hannah was found shot at an apartment on Exeter Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. The victim was transported to the hospital where he later died. As officers began arriving at the location of the shooting they were given information that Peterson and another suspect, 24-year-old Ronald Ross, were attempting to flee the scene by foot. Ross was taken into custody in the 2600 block of Carolina Terrace while Peterson managed to elude capture. According to a news release, Hannah and the two suspects had been in an ongoing feud before the shooting, which occurred following an altercation between the three men. Birmingham police are searching for two men who robbed a Subway restaurant on Huffman Road Monday night. The men, one armed with a handgun and the other carrying Mace, robbed the Subway at 433 Huffman Road around 9 p.m. Monday. The suspect with the handgun hit an employee with the gun before making another employee open the register, Williams said. Before leaving with the money from the register, the other suspect used the Mace on the employees. The suspects left in a white Ford Contour. The suspect armed with the handgun was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and a black baseball cap. Robbery-Home on Linwood Street, Birmingham, AL, June 17, 2013

Two men forced their way into a home on Linwood Street just after 3 a.m. Two victims, a male and female, were inside. The male victim ran from the home and was shot in the ankle by one of the gunmen, Williams said. The female wasn't injured. The suspects fled the scene after shooting the victim.  The injuries are not life-threatening.  Police spokesman Sgt. Johnny Williams Jr. said the suspects were black males and appeared to be in their 20s. No other description was given.  On June 14 of 2012, the police were called to the home of Peter Hargrove on the 700 block of 78th Street South. A witness said when he went to Hargrove's house to check on him, and found him dead. Hargrove was lying on the floor in a back bedroom, he had been shot. Another witness said he heard a gunshot coming from Hargrove's house the day before. The witness then saw two black males run from the house. The Governor's office has pledged a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction for the person responsible for a 2012 homicide. Arthur Green died Friday, May 17. It was 2:30 am in when officers were called to the 1200 block of Rayfield Drive. Green was found sitting in the driver's seat of a BMW,and he had been shot in the chest. Several witnesses said they heard arguing then a "pop." One witnesses tell us they saw two black men at Green's vehicle. Then that witness saw the men jump into a silver vehicle and speed off. Another witness who was driving home saw a silver Chevrolet sedan near the crime scene. We're told the vehicle is often seen on Rayfield Drive. A 4-year-old child was shot about 3 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jaybird Road in Brighton while riding in a car. The car continued on to Interstate 59 southbound, traveling into Bessemer, at which time police were notified. Homicide-David Crutcher-Birmingham, AL, May 1, 2013

David Crutcher, a Birminham man, was shot and left to die in an alley. Police responded to the 8400 block of 8th Avenue South and found Crutcher lying in the grass along the alley. Homicide-Issac Thomas, Birmingham, AL, March 21st, 2013

A Birmingham man, Issac Thomas, was shot in the doorway to his apartment. Officers were called to the 100 block of Roosevelt Courtway Southwest and found Thomas. After being transported to the hospitol, Thomas died. Witnesses say several men came to the Thomas' apartment and started shooting into it and his vehicle. Theft-Autos from Carmax; Hoover, AL May 11, 2013

A man tried to steal a Chevy Tahoe from the Carmax car sales business located on John Hawkins Parkway [Highway 150] in Hoover, AL. The car thief managed to get the SUV as far as the exit gate but was then unable to get the gate open in order to drive off the lot. The man's face was videoed by the business surviellance camera. Theft-Employees ElectronicTablet, Best Buy, Hoover, AL. May 2013

Two men caught on an electornic's store video are suspected of stealing a computer tablet from one of the employees inside the store. The employee's tablet was stolen as the employee was distracted. Theft-Jewelry Store, Gardendale, AL, May 7, 2013

 May 7, 2013, a man entered a Gardendale jewelry store and asked to look at a couple of gold chain necklaces. While he was being shown two necklaces the man grabbed them an ran from the store. The man and the car he was using were both filmed by the store security cameras. This crime is being investigated by Det. Theft-Purse Theft from Walmart Customer, Hoover, AL April 2013

At the Walmart located on Highway 280 in Hoover, a man pretendied  to assist a Walmart shopper but instead he stole her purse and ran. The thief ran to a nearby car, a gray or silver 4-door sedan, where his accomplice waited on him and they sped from the parking lot. The man was filmed on the security video when he entered the Walmart and a partial tag number on the car was obtained:  1C07L.??.  The investigation is being handled by Det. Burglary-Inverness Restaurant, Hoover, AL March 13, 2013

The suspect in this burglary was caught on security video as he stole a commercial grade pressure washer from a restaurant located in Inverness, Hoover, AL.  The suspect used a gold colored Ford Ranger pickup truck to haul away his loot from the crime. Homicide-Martin, Andrew, Birmingham, AL ; February 8, 2013

 On February 8, 2013, around 4:30 pm, Andrew Martin, was discovered unconscious in his car, having been shot. Mr. Martin was transported to a local hospital by ambulance but did not survive. Robbery- Kangaroo Convenience Store, Birmingham, AL ,January 14, 2013

 On January 14, 2013 approximately 11:55 AM, Don Conner, employed as a driver for Birmingham Armored Inc., was shot and robbed at the Kangaroo Convenience Store at 1200 Bankhead Highway. Although injured, Mr. Connor survived the attack. Mr. Connor was making a scheduled pickup of a bank deposit from the convenience store. The money and Mr. Connor's van were stolen.  Pierre Goodman, 25 years old, was shot and killed on December 4, 2012 as he stood in the 6500 block of Joppa Avenue, Birmingham, AL.  Mr. Goodman appears to be the victim of a 'drive-by' shooting, where unidentified persons passing by in a vehicle open fire on him.  Pierre was shot multiple times. Robbery-1200 Block 16th St. So, Birmingham AL January 16, 2013

Around 1:00 am, on Wednesday, January 16th,  in the 1200 block of 16th Street South, there was an armed robbery of a UAB student. The gunman was described as black male, approximately 5'6" and 150 lbs, dressed in all black, and wearing a tobaggan. On January 4, 2012, 54 year old Cedric Dickson, was shot in the vacinity of 3713 Laurel Avenue South, Birmingham. He was discovered laying on the ground near the driver's door of his car at that location.  Bystanders attempted to help him and called 911. When officers arrived Mr. Dickson still alive and he was transported to the UAB Hospital. However, he did not survive his injuries. Cold Case-Homicide-Donavan Seals; March 18, 2012-Birmingham PD

On March 28, 2012, 21 year old Donovan Seals, was shot and killed as he and another young man drove near the intersection of 31st Street and Avenue P, Ensley. Shots were fired into their vehicle, a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder, hitting Donovan. Officers responding to the call found Donovan Seals, severely injured,  inside the SUV. Mr. Seals was transported to UAB hospital, but did not survive. Anyone with any information about Donovan Seal's death is urged to call Crime Stoppers. On February 12, 2012, around 2:40 A.M., 33 year old Diane Moss, was shot and killed outside D & B lounge at 1105 3rd Avenue West, Birmingham, AL. Ms. Moss and a number of other customers were leaving the lounge as angry gunman fired multiple shots into the group. Two other people were injured by the gunfire but survived. On February 9, 2012, Birmingham Police Officers, responding to a 911 call, arrived at a residence located at 825 23rd Street SW, Birmingham. The Officers discovered 44 year old Isaac Spencer on the porch of this residence and he had been shot. Paramedics were called to the scene but Spencer died at the scene.

Robbery- Milos' Restaurant in Forestdale, Jefferson Co., AL. November 13, 2012

On November 13, 2012, around 8:30PM an armed gunman robbed the Milos' Restaurant on Foresdale Boulevard, AL. The gunman threatened  employees with a pistol. From the security video the gunman appears to be a black male, wearing plastic golves and covering the lower portion of his face. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. Crime Stoppers urges anyone with any information that helps identify this gunman to call and stop him before he kills someone during his next robbery.

Cold Case-Homicide-Devondae Jones, Birmingham, AL, September 19, 2012

On September 19, 2012, 18 year old Devondae Jones was shot in the 1100 Block of 25th Street in Ensley, Birmingham, AL. Police arrived on the scene and found Jones, still alive, laying on the sidewalk. Devondae was transported to UAB hospital but did not survive his injuries. People nearby reported hearing 3-4 gunshots at the time of the incident.  Devondae's family hopes that those who have knowedge of his murder will call Crime Stoppers with information that will help the police solve his murder.

Cold Case - Theft [Pickpocket] at BMC Princeton Hosp. in Birmingham, AL; October 2, 2012
